July 4: The House on Haunted Hill (1958)—Dashing millionaire Frederick Loren (Vincent Price) offers five people $10,000 to stay a night in a remote haunted house, giving each of them a loaded gun as a “party favor.” Throughout the night, they’re terrorized by skeletons, disembodied heads, and other grisly apparitions. Will any of the guests survive to win the prize?
July 11: The Amityville Horror (1979)—George Lutz and his wife, Kathleen, move into their Long Island dream house with their children. But the Lutzses’ lives turn into a hellish nightmare as the legacy of a murder committed on the premises gradually affects the family. OMG Based on a True Story!!!
July 18: The Legend of Hell House (1973)—Four paranormal investigators accept an invitation for a week’s stay in a mansion rumored to be haunted. Previous guests of Hell House are known to have gone mad….will they? Featuring Roddy McDowall!
July 25: House (1986)—Troubled horror novelist and Vietnam vet Roger Cobb, reeling from his recent divorce and the mysterious disappearance of his young son, moves into the strange house left to him by his late aunt and faces even more terror. Hoping to find some peace and quiet so he can write his current book, Roger instead must deal with a nosy neighbor (George “Norm!” Wendt)—not to mention the house’s evil apparitions and monstrous demons.
